Paul A Demonbrueun CPA
Paul A Demonbreun cut his teeth on accountancy at the well-respected faith-based Lipscomb University right here in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated back in 1979 and went on to hone his skills and gain valuable experience working for national and local accounting firms.
In 1990, believing he had a deep understanding of what small to midsize companies in the mid-Tennessee area need from a professional accounting firm, he took the bold step of opening his own CPA (Certified Public Accountant) consultancy.
Since then the name Paul A Demonbreun CPA has become a tried and trusted certified public accounting firm, widely known for its dedication to personal service.
Driven by Paul’s business-like but amiable approach, the firm takes care of clients’ tax and accounting needs, serving small businesses and individuals across a variety of sectors, from retail to manufacturing and construction.
A CPA is far more than simply an accountant, although both are financial and tax professionals who follow set rules and regulations, and the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB). CPAs like Paul have also passed a rigorous licensing examination lasting several days, covering many facets of financial and tax expertise, in their home State.
Once licensed CPAs like Paul are required to fulfil continuing education requirements to keep current with tax laws, the tax code and best practice, which is something an unlicensed accountant does not have to do. Maintaining the highest standard of knowledge and ethics is essential for a CPA to retain his or her licence.
More than 250 small and single-person enterprises in and around Nashville trust Paul for his practical and sound advice in the areas of tax planning, business consulting and tax preparation. He is extremely knowledgeable about different accounting software packages, including all the versions of QuickBooks, and has the experience and expertise to help implement accounting systems for clients to assure the successful operation of their business.
Although Paul has always had a head for figures and is an adept number-cruncher, he freely admits that the part of his job he enjoys the most is being able to establish a relationship with business owners and achieve satisfaction through helping them meet their personal and business financial goals.
He believes his firm gives remarkable value for money and return on investment for any small business, acting as business adviser, decision maker, tax consultant, accounting consultant and much more, taking the pressure off so that clients can concentrate on the practical aspects of growing their businesses.
